Thread: 5-0dro Case Sliders on a 09 Bolt

  1. #1
I ordered these last week while 5-0dro was still having a reduced price sale. It was a prestocking sale and I decided to jump on it.
Well I got my package in the mail today and I couldn't wait to open it and install my sliders. Everything was packed very well.

I laid everything out to check for any missing parts and to organize all the bolts. The kit came with some very well written and detailed instructions.

Got to break out the inch pound torque wrench.

I started on the right (Oil Pump) side first.

I made sure to torque all the bolts down the proper amount.

    More of the right side.

Did the left side next. Just loosen all the bolts and remove them.

I put the spacers on first and then just lined the bolts up with the holes.

Got the bolts all tightened down and torqued to spec.

Over all it was a real easy job. Or for me a 1 cigar job. Took maybe 45 minutes to do all of it. I hope I never have to find out if these sliders work or not.
Overall I am very happy with them and have no regrets.

Well i can vouch for Wildman 'cause i have a cabin over in Cle Elum, Wa. where he lives and there was snow on the ground till a few weeks ago. dirty roads over there. Great sliders though where did you get them?:D

I knew some smarta$$ was going to bust my balls about a dirty bike. I live on a dirt road and just got done getting my drive way redone. So right now I can't wash the bikes as I would end up with a mud hole. Hoping to get my gravel delivered and spread in the next few weeks.
