02 X1 bad throttle sensor?

Hi, I'm looking @ a 02 X1 lighting. After 4-5 miles the bike runs ruff and loads up. If you crank it open it clears up. The code supposedly (So Im told) is a bad throttle position sensor. Does an fuel injected X1 have one? Kid that owns the bike doeset know much about buells. I had a M2 and I dont know much about X1's Thanks
