Well done!!
Well folks God put me in a position to save a mans life this evening. I was coming home from work on my Buell when I saw a faint light in the woods. I circled back and found that it was a motorcycle headlight shining into the trees (Sportster 1200). I parked my bike and entered the woods and I found a man laying next to the bike. I made sure he was awake, then I called AMR and kept him conscious until they arrived. I sure am glad that Uncle Sam trained me to keep calm when the **** is hitting the fan. It appeared as if he had simply run off of the curve and hit a tree. Cars use this road all the time, however because of a usually heavy police presence, drivers are usually focused on the other side of the road for possible speed traps. After the paramedics arrived, they stuck him on a back board and carried him out to the street. I dont know his name, and he will probably never know mine, but I hope that one day that if I crash again, that someone will be there to help me as well. The man thanked me for stopping before they loaded him up, I replied simply "Dont thank me sir, thank my recruiter". He was pretty messed up, he appeared to have multiple compound fractures and contusions.
Well done!!
Nice to see people caring about others.
Glad that it seems he will make it. I can only hope I would be able to keep it together as well as you did.
