Not yet but I want to... I just got my bike in February and I don't think my old man has been up to riding lately. He has a 100th anniversary '03 soft tail, a really sweet bike.
I ride with my dad alot. He bought me my first bike(1975 Sportster) and was pissed when i bought a BUELL bcuz"its wasnt a harley" and then he rode it... he did a 3 gear wheely down main street on it (he used to race MX so he's much better @ wheelying than I). then he lightened up a bit on the buell bashing, still gets the occasional jab in though. Its all good i enjoy out running him in everyway possible; mileage, acccel, top speed, cornering, and stopping.
Ne one else ride with their old man?
Here's his 01 heirtage(yes he's a vet, hence the flags) with my 07 uly:

its always good to help paps shake the dust off... my dad tought me to ride and its fun to show him how far ive come since i got my moped when i was 11
Dad's got a custom wideglide HD, I ride my 9R. One of my main riding buddies.
I love riding with my father. Unfortunately he was rear ended(in his car) a few years ago by a texting teen girl and screwed up his back. He only gets out a few times a year now. He says it's painful and he just doesn't enjoy it now. He has a road king, real nice and clean, and when the timing tensioner went out he had big cams put in. Sounds pretty mean, although that bike is certainly not my style lol.
Thought I had a pic of us together but I guess I don't...
I also ride with my father in law, quite often. He has a nice sv1000 and he is a pretty damn good rider.
My dad's got an '07 Street Glide, me on my 12R. Definitely one of my main riding buds too^^
i've been riding with my dad since before i could walk. he would bungee cord me to the seat on his electra glide cause i would fall asleep. now he's on a 2010 indian chief and im on a 07 xb9s. and we work together so we ride to work together everyday
My dad wishes he had a bike. When I win the lottery he will:D
I'm gonna bring some rain down on this parade. My dad passed away 5 years ago(I was 25). The 2 things that sadden me most about is passing are
1, I never got to ride with him(on the street)
2, my future children will never meet him.
Take advantage of the time you have with your dads.
I'm there with you Dave mine passed when I was 19. He road before he had me, but never let me get a bike because he didn't think I was mature enough.
