Just get it rewound but you have to buy a rotor upgrade and it won't fry the new one.

Very sad to hear that . EBR stator was my best option.Would you be able to give me info on another stator that would solve my problem.Really don't want to spend money on a rewind to have the stator burn up a few thousand miles later.Thank you Anthony
    Anthony,

Our modified rotor should resolve the issue, but this does not help with bad stator.

My apologies, but at the moment that is what I can offer.

    Thanks,
    Michael

Wow Tony sorry to here this

Get a rewind and the rotor modified you get 250 of that back.
There is also a rumor of somone copying the stator orfice on bad web and going to due it cheaper.

Ps i wish we would had a chance to do a roll on.
The zx10 dynoed at 175 hp

I'm In the same boat, my stator went out at 5100 miles. I have bought the EBR rotor and now I'm going to get my stator rewound by http://www.ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/. Custo
Rewind does not guarantee that their rewound stators will last, ricks does for one year After all is said and done I will probably buy the CE605 series regulator to finish the package. Anyways good luck.
