Help with trouble code ID

I have a 2010 xb12 and the engine light came on yesterday and then went off after a few miles. I checked the code and it comes up 34 every time. but i dont find that code in any info. can anyone decode this for me. All the code info i have is for older bikes.Thank you

Code 34 is your IAC, idle air control.

Thanks Miami But what happened to cause that code and what do i do nowOr now that light went off is everything ok.

check you battery connections and ground connections.

Loose Battery Connections can make your bike do some weird things. Make sure to check the code several times. The Idle Air Controller is under the Air Boxes Bottom Plate, remove the Velocity Stack and the Bottom Plates 4/screws- 27/Torx,of the Air Box assembly plug the Throttle bodys intake area so nothing drops down in there. the Actuator is mounted on top of the Fuel rail so be safe around the Fuel line. Take your time and the Actuator(Idle Air Controller) is pretty easy to replace. Good Luck.*Jimi
