No. I just bought the bike yesterday. Also, there's this on the front. . .
Is that a crank case breather? Also, it was popping horribly when I let off the throttle, so I cleaned the airfilter, and that little K&N shown above hoping that would fix it. Haven't got to ride it since though.

Yes, it's a Jardine.
There is the source of your popping, KN/Jardine on probly stock fuel maps, you are running borderline damaging lean, are you sure it doesn't have a race only ECM
No, I'm not sure. The guy I bought it from had no idea either. He hadn't done anything to it. He bought it the way it is. What should I do?
Check out Octo's "TUNIVERSITY" and tune it yourself, or, get an EBR ecm for the Jardine, I personally, don't like the Jardines, Keda's/D_Adams or GBalias make real good exhausts that can be used with stock maps, and don't have to be repacked/fall apart every 3k miles, and actually sound very good

not needed with the Jardine, you can take off the actuator too, alittle less weight, and if it does still work you can sell it for a couple of bucks
