Just to let anyone know that Biker Bob's HD and Buell in Taylor, MI is able to do the CR recall repair work.
i received some bad news today.
frasers here in perth informed me while they were doing the recall they checkd the oil lines and they were completely blocked
They took some photos sent them to HD now i have a 6ish week wait for a new motor being sent over.
bad news i will be bike less for near on 3 months, good news getting new motor.
Lunatic it's good that your getting a motor and hope the job is done right the first time. Three months is a short time to wait when you consider that spring is coming.:D good luck
i live in australia so summer is here thats why its a bummer
that sucks for all the owners...maybe buell should of stayed out of the design of the buell..plastic tension guide inside the motor....think theres a better way probably so ... think they tried to cheep out
heres a question for you all.
i sold my car so not having bike is a REAL inconvenience i tried with my dealer they have never had loan bikes insurance policy way to high.
so my next thought write a letter to buell direct tell them my problem see if they can help in any way. has anyone done this in past. is it a good idea will i get anything out of it.
