if people wanna buy their way in with investment money that creates jobs, great. its better then the ones that run across the boarders.
Man I can't wait

I read somewhere about this, it said the plans where to have regular plastics like already mentioned as well as no magnesium wheels and the interactive display would be removed and replaced with a more regular speedo set up. The display alone they said was $6k!!

20m , is it enough to compete with ducati?
The only thing I'm wondering in how heavy it's going to be once the take all the light weight crap off and replace it with less expensive heavier materials.
Much better than a lot of immigrants who come here and offer nothing but horrible driving skills as cabbies. Many become citizens too eventually but don't create jobs.I agree WTF! It's great that it will produce a lot of jobs and all but it's not right to let them buy their way in.
Absolutely, even the $24,000 1198 has not received the greatest reviews but by using less expensive components (aluminum wheels for instance) on the EBR 1190 will make for a better bike I would bet.20m , is it enough to compete with ducati?
Better or different. I think it's great.
BTW, the "investment" is 500k--and that raises all sorts of other questions that probably shouldn't be discussed in our Buell forum... :D
This is kind old news. I've been posting about it for a while and watching the EBR site for updates. They've got placeholders for 3 more "affordable" bikes; the RX, SX, and AX. The current bike is 40 grand, but it's pretty much the race bike with lights. Still waiting...

Click on the motorcycles tab. They also sell some parts for XBs and the 1125 models.
EBR has been getting podium finishes. Check out the results page on the AMA site. Mostly third place finishes, but that's awesome for a new team with new bikes, from a new company in their first season.
Good find! Thanks for the link.http://www.erikbuellracing.com/motorcycles/1190rs/
