Just got the bike, pipe is coming off no matter what. Looks like the downpipe is in good shape, cf canister has a hole in the bottom about the size of a nickel. You could either get a new shell or just use the downpipe to build something else. Comes with the T-shape bracket and band clamp at the back, does not come with the chin fairing bracket unless you want them really bad. If so, add $75 to the price.

$125 shipped for the pipe only. $200 with the brackets.

The can housing is trash. All you have that's worth anything is the end caps, down tube, inner core and fairing brackets. To be honest I wouldn't give more than $ 50 for the can and $50 for the brackets. Just being honest with ya.

Well, that's what I was asking for. I really don't know what kind of market there is for them.

I assume you can get a new shell from jardine. The rest is in good shape, but since I build my own design, I really don't know what these are worth. The brackets new are $70-80 for the complete kit, these are in pretty good shape.

It does me no good just sitting here, someone can make use of it better than I can.

Have you considered copying the brackets using a stronger metal? I know they are prone to failure at the welds. Just an idea.....

You can get a new shell from Jardine but the cost out weighs the savings or reliability...... Especially with the carbon fiber they use.

Yes, I did at one point. If they fail at the welds, then it's just the way they're doing it.

You should be able to get a different type of shell from them, either aluminum or maybe Ti?
