I'll buy one when they become available. I've considered the Duc's for years so if this is in the same category, I'm in. I'm use to owning first year guinea pigs....

Demos would be nice, but I would buy one without hesitation based solely upon the published reviews I've seen of the 1190RS and what I know of my own 1125.

Without a dealer network, though, I wouldn't anticipate much in the way of demos... Maybe opportunities at a few major race weekends, but certainly never here in Hawaii!

except a gsxr 1000 isn't fun to ride on the street due to its stupid power band as with 99% of liter bikes.Â* not to mention most 4 cylinder bikes in general are not fun on the street, not just the liter bikes. sad when you see most people missing their ninja 250 because they had more fun on that than their 600. thats not knocking the ninja 250 since it really is a good bike.
Uh, mine was almost too much fun on the track and street... Powerband? My GSXR1000's made power everywhere. But that isn't the point.

I imagine an 1190RX will be tons of fun--I can't wait to get my hands on one... :D

There's nothing to think about here. I just finished selling all of my 1125 race parts and I'm talking to a guy now to buy what's left of the bike (he wants to build a new DSB effort out of it). As soon as the 1190RX comes out I'll have one. Dealer network? Didn't need one during the 4 years I raced my 1125. But I do know that there are "friendly" Harley dealers around if needed.

I was talking to a HD dealer in Wi,Asking if the owner plans on selling Ebr bikes and just like everything else Hush hush. But it was good to hear that the few guys I was talking to where hoping they would. My goal is to own a Typhoon(If it happens)the 1190 is basically a 1125 so thinking it would be no problem for most Hd dealers to take Ebr on for the fact they already have trained tecs. Heres hoping for the best

I doubt Erik would get tangled up with H-D again after the 2009 debacle... then again, it would make distribution/servicing a lot easier... but I would still be afraid of them bailing on me.
