Purely speculation on my part and with no supportive facts, but I agree with deathandtexas. I don't think Erik Buell would want to get in bed with Harley again. With the financial backing he supposedly has with Hero, which happens to be the single largest motorcycle and moped manufacturer in the world, my guess is he'll have a completely new distribution infrastructure supporting him this time. IF it ever happens.............I doubt Erik would get tangled up with H-D again after the 2009 debacle
And not saying all HD dealerships haven't been good to Buell brand, but we all know there are many who loathe it, working on it, and selling it. I don't think that would be good for the EBR brand period. When launching any product type, motorcycle or not, you've got to put your best foot forward in order to be successful. Having those dealerships not on board would be counterproductive. Just my opinion.....

Well there are @ least two HD shops with in 100 miles from me that have 1190s sitting in there show rooms.So its all about the owners of dealerships working with Eric now not motorcycle company's.
um, what bike is currently "better" than the 1190?
out of the box, it's the bike that can compete on a track.
The others need $30k+ of improvement.
I am on a trip in Wisconsin and will be stopping by the Buell headquarters tomorrow. I'll try to get some photos of the 1190RS and ask about the RX. They told me over the phone there are no tours offered, although they do have a small museum.

I agree with mow^ who's knows what they'll do or when. All I know is I'm an 'XB' fan and hope I can get parts for life.
either 20k or 40k...being an average joe, having an EBR is a pipe dream. if at any moment I had some cash to burn, it would be spent on buying spare parts to keep my XB going, maybe buy another so my 9s wouldn't be lonely in the garage :D
Had fun visiting the EBR headquarters today. Had a great chat with the VP for Sales about the various bikes on display. Man, I want an 1190RS...
