Heat shield liner...where to put it

I made some ass-less chap's out of it; well more like shorts.... but only on the right leg.

..and since I live in the middle of nowhere with NO stop & go traffic, I don't worry aboot it heating up too much and since I am flying along I figure the airflow will negate that problem..
