The pavement made a good go at me, but I prevailed. My bike, however, needs a new left handlebar, turn signal, shifter, footpeg and frame puck. I was curious though, if I should inspect anything else that normally goes wrong but is less apparent than the obviously broken parts? The steed runs fine as far as I can tell. Shifting obviously sucks and the steering geometry is off, but those are easy to find and repair items.

    Any advice?

Funny thing is, I was on my way to check out a beautiful Ulysses. Got there and even gave it a test ride, I loved it!

I would check motor mounts but it should all be good. I have most if not all the parts you need to replace as well.

Thanks a lot man. I'll check them out, definitely. I have all the parts on order right now from ASB and buellparts.net, but I appreciate that for sure!

What happened? That would make it easier to recommend what to check.

Good point, I high sided it and it went somewhat nose first.

    Assuming to the damage,
you were in a right hand turn
    High sided to the left
Bike landed more towards the front
    Slamming into concrete?
Any rash on the rear of the bike? I would check your sub frame bolts if they have them on the lightening. It might just be the seat?? Check the cases for any new leaks.

It was a stop where I had locked up, rear tire slid out to the left and I went over the left side, bike slammed into the concrete on the left side. No rash at all anywhere other than the puck and the broken points I mentioned, oddly enough.

I've been watching for leaks and stuff, I'll give it a really good once over too. Thanks again.
