I was just wondering is it best to check your oil on the stand or while having someone hold it up straight?

on the sidestand cold.oil just showing on the bottom of the stick = full hot.the manual will also tell you 26 ft lbs on the drain plug but as many have learned the hard way that will pull the threads out of the swingarm.

You can also download the manuals at buellmods.com. Just have to create a user name. I couldn't find a manual here, but they have them all

    Good to have laying around.

Alrighty thanks! Yeah it sucks not having a manual to look up these silly questions. I had to ask tho cause some people tell me check it on the stand and others say hold it straight up then check it.
