I just purchased a 2003 Buell Blast and the previous owner had installed a Vance & Hines ss2r. He said he did it to increase clearance and because the stock exhaust was heavy. What should the carb be jetted to with this exhaust. No other mods on the bike. (In Chicago)

In the manual I found for my bike it says the stock jets are: Main Jet 166 & Slow Jet 42

Do I really need the entire kit if I just need to compensate for the V&H exhaust? What jet sizes should I be running?

NO! NEVER buy a "kit" for the carb (with the exception of the Yost). Go buy 45 pilot and 175 main from a Harley dealer if you don't already have them.

    Tell them it's for a 2001 Sporty 1200.
