Ok. I followed Dave's DIY video. Still the same thing. I took a video and I posted to YouTube. They are processing it now. It should be up tomorrow. The title is Buell xb9sl dying. I'll post a link up here when I see that it published. But if you want to check before I post a link you are more than welcome to. My screen name is heywood24. It's a black and silver Buell. Again thank you all for all the help. One day I will get it right again! Your help is greatly appreciated!!

    ^^^ Nope!!
Stock ECM's...'Race ECM' already is deleted in the map. It's a point in the map based on MPH/RPM that retards the timing to help meet the EPA noise standards. 3400(?) RPM I believe? The white wire takes away the speed sensor signal I believe. It supposedly causes a sag in the torque curve at that point...I did it and didnt really "feel" a difference. Some guys differ on that opinion, but...! :D

Some people have reported issues with the NGK 8's. The DCPR9EIX is the correct plug though the 8 does work fine for a few.

Then the plugs aren't the problem.

Isn't the white wire mod for European bikes only?
White wire mod is for 9's only. Not sure about domestic/foreign.

Yep, 2003-2007 EU 9 motors was the info I was told after I picked up my 05 9SX. I may have been fed bad info, lot of opinions out there.

Also before I did this mod. The bike was running good except for the exhaust leak.
    There's a lesson here.
