When I am at an idle and crack my throttle there is a huge lag there. When I am at a stoplight there is a dead spot when I go to take off where it cuts out real bad and sometimes almost dies? If I try to crack the throttle real fast it sounds like a pop and then sounds like it's gonna die and then it revs.

Could be that the motor is not warmed up enough yet....does it do this all the time? Or just when you first start it?

All the time. I bought this bike used with only 3800 miles on it. I have since put 3000 on myself. 2007 XB12R with D&D Exhaust and Race ECM. No breather re-route...yet.
