Well it took me almost 3 weeks but i removed the starter ,disassembled, installed new starter clutch drive, reassembled and reinstalled and from as good as this engine turns over now i think my starter was bad from the get go. I just got back from a test ride and hope there are a few nice days left to ride before the snow. also to remove the starter on 2008 and up xb models you do have to remove at least one oil line.
