Help...!!! wont start...

ran ECM spy and got the error codes...

doesnt look good. fan comes on when i turn bike off and take out key.



any suggestions.

i cant see any wires rubbed through or damaged. was running fine 3 weeks ago until my battery died.

now have brand new motobat battery and after being in the bike for 3 days battery is flat.

Recharge the battery, start checking the ground points. Once the battery is charged, check the terminals at the battery to make sure they're tight. Had that happen once on a new battery within 35 miles, it went totally dead. What I thought was a tight connection wasn't really tight, needed to add a washer to the terminal connection to actually make it tight. The bolt was bottomed out but not really holding the cable as tight as it should have been.
After all that, put a meter on it while it's running and check the battery voltage, it should be over 13 volts, typically it will be 13.5 or higher though.

getting a replacement battery today as the one i got was brand new so the shop recons it might have been a dud.

will recheck and see how i go today.

Clear the codes.
Replace the battery check the ground and air sensor under the airbox bottom plate.
Also by any chance... How's your front motor mount, or had you replaced it?

will check the tps ground and air sensor ground this afternoon.

another new battery turns up this afternoon. hopeing this sorts it. then i can do TPS reset and load the 07 xb12ss race map.

Had a bike with a bad front motor mount pull the wire out of the front o2 sensor and pop the clip out of the wiring harness loop that holds the harness to the front of the frame.

The wire that goes to the air and throttle control sensor is in that same wiring loop.

i have the 07 XB12SS they didnt have a front o2 sensor, only rear and the air sensor in the airbox.

will check both of them

installed new battery no change.

checked Air Intake Sensor and TPS switch and they seem to be fine.

hoping the wiring harness isn't fried... cant smell any meted plastic though.

cant start bike till the errors a cleared but they wont clear.

looks like all i have left to do is to take it in to Harley dealer and get them to fix it... its gona cost mega bucks coz they charge $120 per hour.

Sorry not front o2 front injector.
But your in luck. If you need another harness I have 2 complete "Ss" harnesses
