Im on the side od the road. Stuck. Bike started to sputter then died. No power, no lights, no crank, nothing. Checked grounds and fuses ok. Wth? Im stuck btw rapid responses appreciated. 08 xb12r
Definitely electrical--as above, check the 30a inline fuse. Then double check that the battery is connected (you've probably already done that). Next, see if you can get a car to jump you--If everything powers up when you connect, it's definitely battery/charge related. If its not a bad ground somewhere, a new battery will get you home.
Where are you located?
Removed battery, reinstalled battery. Power on cranked over ran fine just got home no further issues. And i have had an issue with my lights flickering since i got it. But never had starting issues, and monitored voltage when flickering no drops or low voltage. Weird.
Something is loose. Go over it with a fine-toothed comb
The battery, if i tip the battery itll die, upright works. Can hear it inside moving around. Super weird never seen this happen with a battery but thank god thats all it is. Made me late for a job interview and i chucked the bike in the bile of the girls truck no straps. What harm could be done from it layinh sideways?
