Ive had the same thing going on with my front tire before. A summer of going to some twisties.

Excellent
I know in the southern part of Indiana there are some decent roads, depending on your definition of decent. I just cant remember where exactly they are.Right on, way to knuckle up ace! I HATE the fact that I have spent more miles on the center section of my tires than the sides. I freakin love the twisties, but unfortunately we have all of about ONE decent road in Indiana for the twistie bits. Not one single mountain in this whole friggin state, no mountains means no mountain roads. The highest point in the state of Indiana is in the middle of a cornfield. No, seriously, it is!
I'm in Fort Wayne, I hear there is a stretch or road not far from me in Ohio that is decent, in fact I was at a bike night this summer and saw a thunderbolt with the sides worn more than the center and he told me about it.
My Front tire looks very simillar, rear doesn't though ...
It's a pretty typical wear pattern on dual-compound tires; way to ride!
