Holy ****!
I wonder if it would be a good idea to use these as a replacement for the oem headlights.. would be alot better than the originals.
Holy ****!
My friend has these on his BMW GS and they are brighter than a mf'er! Albeit partially blinding due to the beam pattern. If used about 2/3's height and pointed down they'd probably be okay - I would recommend them only for backroads with no traffic or offroad of course.
EDIT: Just looked on their website - I didn't realize you can get different beam patterns. I'd love to see actual pics of the pattern and spread.
Might work with a spot as your normal run light and a flood for a high
D2's don't come in a spot, only driving, diffused and flood. I have 6 D2's in (Driving Pattern) on my Raptor and they work well with a nice even spread of light.
A off road pics should give you a idea of the output.
pic just to show where they are mounted.
X2 D2's on hood mounts
X4 D2's mounted in front bumper
Next two are just comparisons between my other lights
20" E-Series (spot pattern) center mount/lower bumper
3" FX-R projectors, 55W 5k HID Headlights
All at once
Hope that helps
Man you don't like the dark one bit do you lol
That things has to look badass rolling down the road!
Yeah if you could stand to look into the light that would appear like its from heavan its so damn bright. Good looking truck. And i would be weary to put these on a bike. Just mu opinion.
Sick retrofit of the FX-R!!
