Dear All,
Can you please tell me what is the positive effect for BuellXB9SX build 2009 ?
That positive effect i don't understand.
Sincerly yours ... Martin
@Gobi, his catch can looks like the Karting oil catch cans-you can buy them on eBay, or from place like Pegasus Auto Racing ( https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...asp?RecID=4703 )
I bought one similar, but in black. I'll post pics as soon as I've installed it...

^Basically just keeps the intake clean from oil vapor/gunk buildup. That's mostly all.
Okay, got mine done today. Very easy and mostly straight forward. Went for a mount just in front of the oil cooler.
Used a brass T under the air box, used the cut out section of tubing to block off the holes, and only used about 2.5' of new 3/8" fuel hose. I was going to cut away most of my air box cover, but the '09 one is already well-vented.
The images are no longer showing !? Just when I was about to finally use the tutorial.
Nice set up Rhino. How muh clearance do you have off the fronttire when it is facing directly towards the can?
They probably deleted the photos off photobucket.
Hey all, first post on here although I've been grabbing tips and ideas for a couple months.
I simply wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread and write-ups. I use my XB12S mostly for commuting and hated the surge in 1st when I was in slow-n-go traffic. I did the breather reroute last night and noticed an immediate difference this morning on my trip in to work. Thanks again, and I'm sure you'll be seeing more of me around here :)
kind of worried that the tiny holes on the bolt that holds the entire can together might not allow some of the thicker **** through... any thoughts?
Drill the holes larger...?
^Agreed^ Eventually, those would stop up with gummy crud, depending on how much your's splurges.
