The EFI fuel line on my 07 TT has chaffed through. It looks like the braid has chaffed and wore through the hose, just above the fitting where it comes out of the fuel tank and just before it makes a 45 degree bend.

As I don't want to risk another failure I would like to replace it with stainless steel braided fuel line rather than another OEM hose. Does anyone know where I can get a custom fuel line made up? I'd like to have swaged on hose ends, not the push on type.

I know that whistler bearing would do it if you have one in your state. But that's all I can think of

The problem with getting a new line made is finding the fitting on the fuel rail end. What was rubbing on your old line so much? I have never seen an XB with a worn through fuel line. You can cut the plastic line off of the metal fitting at the fuel pump and the plastic fitting at the fuel rail and use some 1/4" fuel injection hose to run a new line. I made all my new lines out of 1/4" Earl's Super Stock fuel line with pinch clamps at both fittings. The plastic fuel rail fitting has larger barbs that 1/4" hose takes some work to push over. Buying a new line from the dealership or from a used bike would be another solution.
