it won't be a change to Ulysses/X model. I can't remember the suspension specs of the Ulysses bikes (around 6" travel? can't remember) but this stuff is just going to take it to the same travel as the SX bikes. I think it's only another 1"-1.5" of travel. been so long since I've had the specs side by side, but my aim was to give it the suspension travel of an S model to make it more supple and compliant around town. despite tuning, I still find the bike a bit rough and twitchy on irregular roads.

Fellas, I'm kinda leaning toward just keeping the suspension for the bike at this point, in case I ever decide to sell the bike down the road. I wouldn't expect the used susp kit to sell for what it would cost new, but from what I'm seeing, it doesn't really make sense to hack the susp off the bike permanently given the rarity of the bike that a couple of you have mentioned, so I'll prob just keep and store it in case I ever need/want to go back for any reason.

thanks for all the feedback. as noted in the original message, I was just trying to get a feel for what the Scg suspension kit would be worth if I were to decide to sell it. If anything changes, I'll be sure to get back to the guys who PM'ed me.
