Have you considered an XT? I have a 30" inseam and can flat foot my wife's XT and manage on my X with an '06 (tall) seat just fine (tip-toeing of course). I would think you should be just fine on an XT, pretty close to flat footing it.
I am a former Buell owner back in the 90,s. I would really like to buy a Ulysses but unfortunately I am vertically challenged. 28" inseam being optimistic. I was wondering if any one had attempted a lowering kit. I really do not want to hack at the seat as I usally order a Russell Day Long as I will primarily use the bike for long distance touring. Any idea,s would be appreciated. I realize their are other models but the Ulysses seems to be best equipped for the type of riding I like. Thanks, Tom

I am the same as Yan,
Here are some options:
(1) Replace the Ulysses X with a rear shock off of XT
(2) Get a Custom Seat Made, to reduce the height.
(3) Get Boots with a thicker Soles.
Or Buy a Yamaha TW200, LOL !!
