Thanks XB12RS, yeah transmissions were bad in both motors. And all my gear head friends wouldnt touch it (bad sign), my mechanic didnt feel comfortable doing it. Found a local guy that specialized in Buell engines , it was going to be a couple of thousand in labor and parts for the transmission, and he said he was hestitant to do the engine without doing the whole engine.
So I called it quits on trying to fix it. Trust me I would of rather kept the bike whole it was physically in great condition, only 4500 miles garage kept. I really enjoyed riding it, it was nice and comfy for street riding. But I was just throwing good money after bad.
do you have and of the headlights with speedo mounts? clutch lever, clutch shifter?:D
