Clean looking bike, but that can't be the actual mileage. Looks like it wouldn't have any problems though.

As always to far me!! but i got 09 xb12sS Long
:)
X2!! :(As always to far me!!
As most of the times the best XB12scg bikes are too far away from me.
:)
Why does the dash say xb12r and the handlebar xb12s?
From the sounds of it, it was likely wrecked and rebuilt, but at the very minimum, the gauge cluster was swapped out (most likely for lower miles). I would be pretty leery about this one. I am pretty particular though. If everything checks out good and all the VIN#'s match should be a pretty good deal. Why does the dash say xb12r and the handlebar xb12s?

Just a heads up for everyone. I wanted to help a fellow Buell owner (unfortunately he needs to sell the bike) and anyone that might be looking at this.
I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the OP/Seller. Great guy, and this is not his first Buell. Everything has been done well and was intentional. First time I've seen the hidden rear caliper in person and it looks good! He's got a few other bikes that he's working on, so he's no stranger to the two-wheeled world.
If you need more background/history on the bike I recommend talking with him. And the difference that was noted about the 12R gauge and the 12S clamp is correct. Bike was low sided, no major damage, mostly cosmetic, but the dealer didn't want to mess with it. And so now you have the bike that you see in the ad.
Also, for all you BuellXB.com folks, if you're interested and want to buy the bike, the Seller and I talked things over and if you mention my name (Thomas) and that you saw this on BuellXB.com you can get $500 off the price! Just let him know that I referred you.
Hoping this bike finds a good home!
Thanks Thomas! Pleasure meeting w/ a fellow Bueller that knows the value of things this rare. Still have the refurbished Jardine kit and new clear alternatives for sale btw...
Yeah, this bike was a theft recovery, all re-legitimized by a dealer. Then I pimped it out to be my dream bike as it sits. Only 2 days listed and I sold the bike along w/ some stock parts I had for 5k cash this morning. Late model Scg's are a hot item!
