Thanks guys it looked like the only good place to put it plus the wires are out of the way and you can still get fuse box cover off. the LEDs are bright in day lite and dim at night .
There were several write ups here recently on this. Snrusnak I think was one of the members who posted on this.
Not to knock your set-up because its tucks away nicely behind your fairing, but if you check out his thread, I think you might like his set-up if your interested in hiding it completely. His hides behind the dash panel and gives a quantitative LED reading.
I did a quick search, but didn't find it and running late this morning.

^I did post about it but I haven't yet done this mod. I also like the mod that hides it in the gauge cluster the best, looks oem.
Thou the in the dash looks good, did not want to pull a ton of stuff apart to put in dash and is a little to big to put in there . plus is waterproof and has a sensor to brighten and dim . Dash is smoked on that side and could mess that up.
