I watched Dean Adams take off my stock exhaust. Just remove the belt guard and go in with a I think a 10mm socket on a long extention. Remove the nuts on the straps and pull out. Remove the the front, drop the muffler and disconnect the cable and your done with the removal. Removal and install of the Keda took about half an hour. Did'nt even use the bike stands. I have a 09 Ss. but I think its the same on all xb's.

The Hawk and Drummers utilize the rear bracket/mount.

I am assuming the Jardine can not thus the oil line issue.

↑↑↑↑↑↑ Correct you have to pull the rear mount for the Jardine. Which the oil line runs through.

Yup. Putting on a Jardine so have to take the braket off. It's an 09 sx.

Lucky for me I held off on my oil change so it will work out nicely. Just seems like one of those things that makes you scratch your head and wonder "Why?"

Wasn't having a good bike day yesterday because on top of my exhaust, I took my Vmax apart to put a new power commander on it only to find it was wired up with a UFO tuner already. Clearly it should be called POS because I still thought I needed a tuner...

Not a great bike night. Hopefully today goes better.

You can also use a cut off wheel and cut the center out of the bracket

Finally finished the job. The quick connect on the oil line is a nice feature. Took some major convincing to get the stock exhaust to come off the header though.

    On to the next mod...
