how much of the sealant will I need to seal the case halves with? seems like the standard tube quantity is 3.5 oz., one or two?

I used Yamabond 4. It's cheaper then the Threebond. It came in a 3oz tube and I still have about half left over so 3.5 should be good.

Hey thrstrmech, you might already know this, but if you wipe down your case-halve mating surfaces with acetone, then scuff lightly with red scotch brite, and wipe down with acetone once again before applying your sealant, your chances of leaks and seeps go down to about "0".. when your in this deep the extra effort pays off.. :)
