He doesn't have the o rings or just the pump (only the assembly), from what I see. Not that I don't like ASB, but you can buy everything at autozone significantly cheaper. If he carried the pump it might be worth spending a little more to get the EXACT oem replacement. The mustang one works and I believe it's the same but like I described above the fittings are slightly different size, the screen is slightly different, etc.

As an update, I rode my bike all weekend at the dragon and it ran great the whole time. I don't know how many miles I put on but probably 200-300+ so I'd say this works.

Great info to have! I wonder if the fuel pressure is the same as the OEM pump? Must be pretty close if the bike is running OK.

Seeing as the pump appears to be identical, I think it's the same. I think the pump puts out more psi anyway, and the regulator holds the psi back to the injectors. The bike's running great and strong so it must be ok...

I wish they would sticky my intake gasket thread. It covered a bunch of points that could help even an average Joe swap their gaskets. I love when people post tutorials. Helps us keep these legacy Buells going for cheap.

^I would also like to see your thread as a sticky, it was very good, and I will be using it probably later this year...

I've been reading for at least an hr now on how to do this and what pump to use. I have an 09 xb12ss. I need clarification on what pump to use that will bolt in the easiest. Walbro? Airtex? The reason for confusion is I've noticed discrepencies in what pump to use in an 09. What sock, what filter?
    Thanks
    Ken
