Use the 10R12X since that's what your bike comes with but they are all good plugs.
whats the best HD spark plug for a XB12R with race ecm?
My dealer carries HD 10R12A
HD 10R12AG Gold
HD 10R12X
Me and the service guys at my local dealer weren't sure what the best ones for me to use are so I told them I would ask here.. good news was that I got a new set of plug wires for 11 bucks each and they went on my old NGKs a lot easier than the non-buell units that I was running before.. the stock Buell plug wires have real strong beefed up caps on the ends so they go on both ends a lot easier.
Use the 10R12X since that's what your bike comes with but they are all good plugs.
they actually thought that it would be the 10R12A.. so the X is in the right heat range for a race ecm?
All the 10R12 plugs are in the right heat range for your motor. Subtle differences between them and you won't ever feel the difference
ok thanks.. I was running NGK iridium ones .. Im going to try these instead.
Cool! Just fyi, the iridium plugs only last longer than the standard electrode plugs. Don't let anyone convince you of anything more. The HD plugs are excellent plugs as are NGK. A set of HD plugs should last you 10,000 miles or more.
I pulled mine at 10k cleaned checked the gap still good, not fouled once at 21k but changing them saturday anyways cause its getting risky.
