What part of Ohio are you in? I'm in Indiana about an hour SW of Cincinnati.
I live in Columbus, 2005 xb9r, 9000 miles,
Dumb question - but you did install the device drivers, correct?
Can you read your pcm? I'm up in Toledo. I swing down to Cbus every couple months for work.
I can't get the software to even load on my Pc it won't open just tells me it's missing a file it doesn't help I'm a caveman with a pc
I got the ecm spy to actually boot up, so now I need to know how to load the maps and such, is there a link someone could give me to a step by step on what to do on how to reset the tps and then load new ecm info in thx guys !
Im sorry I havent used Ecmspy in years so I am probably not much help. I use different tuning software. Do you have a race map already?
First step is connecting Ecmspy to the bike and downloading the stock map.
Then cut/paste the race maps over and then upload them.
Do a TPS Reset reset.
Take a look in the "do it yourself" thread. there's a video on how to do a TPS reset or just google it. Same with loading the new maps. This sit is how I've learned everything, it's amazing. This site https://sites.google.com/site/ecmspy/ has most full maps also. Good luck
