The other day, I found I have the weeping clutch slave cylinder like many other cr's have. I read up about it online and it seems I need to get a new slave cylinder. Can anyone tell me why I can't just put a new rubber seal in there rather than replace the lot, or is the clutch fluid getting out somewhere else ?
The bike has only done about 1400 miles so to have to start replacing things that should have been made properly in the first place annoys me quite a lot.

Somewhere in one of these CR clutch topics there is a good picture showing that the design is significantly different between the OEM and the "fix." i.e. the issue is more than just a rubber seal causing your leak.

New seals will get you buy for a short period of time, but its going to fail again. Depending on what year bike you have Harley did change the piston in the 10's but it was still aluminum, if you don't want to worry about it just do the EBR one and Forget a about it.

OK thanks for the help. I think I'll get a Oberon replacement with lifetime waranty then all I need to do then is wait for my stator to go. Thanks again.
