Definitely going ahead with these, I just talked to the machine shop guy. Still haven't nailed down a firm price as of yet, but he said I'd get a quote today once they sort out the total time to make them all and then have them coated. I have the finalized prototype set and I'm happy with the results. I hit it with some flat black paint but didn't get pics of it, I'll try to remember that tonight when I get home.

How far off is the R&D for a belly pan bracket for the 1125?
Didn't know there was much of a market for them. Most of the time it's just mil-spec fasteners attaching it directly to the lower panels, there's no actual pan brackets that I'm aware of.

$90 shipped for a set. I should have some available in 2 weeks, waiting on nuts/bolts to arrive, the brackets should be done and powdercoated by then as well. Between paypal, shipping and the misc hardware, I will probably make about $3-4 per set, tops.

Dave, if you want the prototype set, let me know, I have it sitting here. I shot a couple of coats of flat black on it, just need to grab some nuts and bolts from the local Sears.

I'd like to add some support to the pan as opposed to letting it just hang from the side fairings. I've seen a few people that fabbed up some brackets. Looks like I have a line on some from a guy who made some for himself.

On a side note, what depth Milspec fasteners did you end up using? I recall that in a previous thread you had to get replacement fasteners since the ones that shipped in the now discontinued GSD kit were too shallow for the fairings set you received.

netty what greasy means is the bracket they sent him ( the left bracket for chin ) is a flat piece of stock they did not put the bends in it . If you look at adams piece the smaller one it has a bend going up and one down were it bolts up to chin.

Link is right there, click it to order them. They should be cut/bent on Friday, coating the following week. I will ship them as soon as I get them back.
