After waiting 10 weeks I finally received the race tail from germany. Couple that with some Radiantz lighting. Can you guess what I'm gonna end up with?

Thanks Jack. A couple hours later with the dremel tool. The rough cut is done and here's the test fit.

Wasn't there a site where they were selling those tail sections in cast here in the states?

I'm not sure if there was a site selling cast ones or not. I've never seen them.


The led strip is epoxied into the tail. I wetted up a carbon fiber liner. It will add strength to the part even though I'm not sure it really needs it. The Radiantz lighting has an additional resistor or something that helps differentiate between brake and tail lights. It all looked pretty fragile. In addition to strength the liner will hide and protect the wiring assembly behind it.

Well the new tail piece is installed. I need to get some Designer Black spray paint from ASB to match up the paint. I used some satin black. It seems to be about a shade off.

That tail light is pretty bad ass! That might be a nice winter project to do.
