Hey, had an idea, was wondering if it had been done, or is possible...
My idea, so save some cash in the interim, was to take my stock handle bar clamp, and cut it to make a two piece clamp. Obviously sanding and re-painting before re-mounting.
Cuts would be along yellow lines.
Just wondering if it'd still have the same structural integrity, and be safe to do so.

I have 1 1/8 bar adaptors they are 2 piece.
