You just use the stock bands. You may have to "stretch" out the inlet for the header into the muffler. I used a metal balancing cone from work. It installs just like the stock muffler. It takes some wiggling and jiggling to get the header lined up just right so it slides into the muffler.

It mounts the same as a stock can..just pry that exhaust to headers opening a little. Takes some wiggling like Zero said.
Here's mine, took me a little while too. Used all stock hook ups

How necessary is the hookup to the chin fairing? im wondering becasue the bolt heads are snapped off and dunno if i should try to drill them out and retapp them or just leave them in there.

I totally forgot about those being broken off in there. I never hooked mine up to the chin fairing. If you have access to a torch those should back right out if you get it nice an cherry red.

I've hooked up my chin fairing without the front two. You'll be fine it'll just probably bob some, obviously I'd advise hooking up the front two...just up to you

    Good luck
