It's literally the xb9 gearing in the xb12. the top speed will drop to like 130 but it gains a decent amount of pull on the low end (not that it's really needed).
Has anyone ever used this on an xb12? I really wanna know how much of a difference it makes and what kind of top speed you are getting after the conversion.

Ya I understand its just the xb9 gearing in the xb12.
#1 My xb12 wont go 130 so Idk where that info is coming from.
#2 Did anybody on here actually swap the stuff?
I want to hear from someone that did it and had actual results. I can sit here and ponder all day on what it would do but at the end I'm still left wondering because I dont know exactly.
I have ridden several 12s with the XB9 primary gearing. Just shy of 130mph is where the 12 will top out with the gearing change and it makes 1st gear wheelies a good bit easier. I'm not a big fan of it only because you do shift into 5th sooner around town, but not by a lot.
Are the Rpms on the highway much higher than with the stock gearing?
I have a xb12 with the xb9 gearing and I run about 4000 rpm at like 75 I believe... I bought it that way so not sure how different it is from stock
That's not too much different from mine. Any idea what it tops out at?
No I've never topped it out
If your XB12 won't do 130 you have a problem, the gearing should let it get to 143My xb12 wont go 130
143? Mine definitly won't do that.
