I have tried to adjust my static timing. I put the bike in 5th gear got it a tdc and the LED wasn't on.so I moved the igniton module and the light wouldn't turn on no matter were I moved it. is my ignition module bad? no the bike wont start.

Just generic questions here my man...

Did you remove that little timing plug so you can see the timing mark on the flywheel?... There are two TDC's for each cycle of a four stroke engine... There's one for compression (which is what the timing is set for) and there's one for exhaust...

yes I took the timing plug out. I tried it on both and neither gave me light. not sure which one is which so I tried it on both.

Well if you tried TDC for both the compression and exhaust stroke and never got a light on the sensor, I would check the connectors going to the sensor before I condemned the sensor... They're simple hall effect sensors so it's not common for them to go out.... Not saying that's not what it is!... Just an uncommon failure...

Report back with the findings and the forum can continue from there... No worries you'll get this bike running again...

ok update- my kill switch was on! I didn't know that was gonna keep the light from turnin on. so im gonna check the light now. my clutch needs to be adjusted. it doesn't grab the crankshaft in 5th gear all the time. so its like im pulling the clutch in. so it takes me forever to get the timing mark to even move.

ok I got the timing set. I was trying to set it on the exhaust TDC not compression. but the bike still wont start. I just bypassed the sidestand switch and the clutch switch, but I need to now which sockets to jumper into on the BAS sensor.
