The previous owner said there was a short in the wiring for the speedo. I now see the problem. It will loose all power to the speedo and odometer. Tapping the wires behind the instrument cluster will bring things back to life until I hit the next bump. Is there a wire I can jump or bypass to fix this short?
i dont think i would try to bypass it, locate exactly where the short is, replace those wire/s if possible if not coat it in liquid electrical tape, its kind of a mess but it makes a good seal
