blast coil upgrade

I just got a accel single fire 3 ohm coil and needed to know what to do with the three wires. Purple pink and striped wire. Witch one goes to pos neg and what do I do with the third. The new accel has terminals for the pos and neg. Only using one side.I already know I have to cut old connector and use eye connectors.

If you're using a stock ignition, you need a 1/2ohm coil. Only aftermarket ignitions use a 3ohm coil.
