I ordered a subframe for a Buell from ebay it was from a 03 xb9r so it should work i wired up the new turn signals and just wonder what wire is for the brake light and the running light for the rear is it orange like the Harley's? and the front stud's are stripped on the front exhaust I need to take the exhaust off of it and replace the studs I found a video on youtube of how to do it without removing the engine.

Very nice bike. Yes the subframe should bolt right up. The orange and red striped wire is your positive i believe. If you have a volt tester, connect it to the wire and press the brake. If you get volts than you have the corrext wire. There are on two wires to the brakes so you should be able to figure it out. Let us know if you need a picture of the underseat of a firebolt for comparison.

thanks guys my subframe is coming in today and I'm thinking about using a 1/4" drill bit extender to drill out the studs and tap them out of the head so I don't half to take the exhaust all the way out.
