Thread: evap ?

    is there a plug that goes on this brass prong? its not a california model. or does it stay open like that.

    Is that one of the breather hose fittings?

    do you mean from the top of the cylinder heads. that would be NO. What I have read about it, it is part of the evap. there is no hose or plug that was on it.

    Gotcha. I have not dug deep enough into my Throttle Body to see what's there.

    Parts manual doesn't show anything going to that connector unless it's just there to be used for the Cali models.

    the service manual dosen't show anything either. just for cali. models. there's a tube that goes back to a carbon canister and one from fuel tank to the same canister

    I bet it's a vapor recovery fitting to recover and reburn the gases that pass through the throttle body.
