That would be an interesting bike to ride and watch peoples reactions,,but not to be a downer or anything, but Jeez,
based on all the posts on here with problems keeping these Buells running
(I know I know,, it builds character right? ) It seems a turbo would be one more maintenance headache
Just thinking about it,, the all alloy Buell motors have some issues with intake seals, head gaskets and base gaskets,, and adding boost,, well do the math. Plus all the computer and electrical gremlins Buells seem to have that Sportsters dont,, It just seems a recipe for trouble...
That being said,, I think its super cool, and I would like to borrow it for about 2 weeks, I dont want to own it as I have enough projects to keep me busy, But I sure would have some fun at the local 2 wheeled tuesday and can I borrow it for the upcoming charity toy run??? All those posers with the big twins who claim sportsters are just
"Girls bikes" well that would be super fun.:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Good price on the buy it now. You could sell the turbo kit off of it and still have a solid bike.
No way it makes 176hp at 6psi. Damn! It's so funny to see stuff advertized like that
Eric, that was my initial thought.
I'm about a hour away from it if someone wants me to take a look.
I might just go to see for myself... Maybe he's got dyno sheets
I would like you to see. I say test ride haha
im gonna say maybe 130 hp at 6lbs
Depends on the size of that trubo.
