I bought a 08 xb12r last week, it POPS terriably bad off rev... bike has Jardine pipe... im pretty sure needs tune....Do i have newer, programmable ECM??????? or older unit, that a power commander will work????? or might i solve all my problems with a Race EMC..... i ordered a plug for pipe i was told that would reduce popping, but i hate the thought of giving up the gains of the pipe....... im sure theirs someone out there that know the best fix for this???????????im not smart enough to figure out how to post pic of EMC , the SN:29318,,,, if that helps..
race-pipe with stock ecm/stock air filter = fouled plugs, air flow congestion, less top-end
race-pipe with race ecm/stock air filter = lean plugs, less mid-range,
race-pipe with race ecm/hi-flow air filter = firm low-end, good spark-burn, good low/mid range/wot
race-pipe with race ecm/hi-flow air filter/high duration cams/adjustable push-rods = excellent low-end power, hotter spark, wild mid-range, insane wot
