I got a leak at my clutch cable.. but its not at the o-ring its at the other side were the black hose comes out of the fitting itself.. anyone ever seen that one before? The outer cable gets wet and hits the chin.. but when I check the o-ring side its dry... it seems to be coming from the OTHER end of that fitting were the black outer cable comes out of it.. the cable is new , only a few weeks old.

Im looking at it more closely.. its not exactly the same cable as the OEM cable.. must be some kind of aftermarket cable.. It cost me 30 bucks.. wasted my money I guess.

My clutch cable was leaking just like that last winter while sitting in the basement. Not wanting to have it drip on my carpet I cleaned it really well and then wrapped electrical tape very tightly around the area followed by putting 3 small zipp ties around the tape, figuring I would replace the cable at the start of the season..... Well I put a lot of miles on it and never got around to replacing the cable, the electrical tape is still doing it's job after all this time. I'm at the point now where I don't plan on replacing it anytime soon.
