Just got home with an 09 Uly XT, traded my 09 1125 for it. Bike is in decent shape. Only 14xxx miles Blue in color. Has luggage, heated grips. No right side scoop. Only 1 stock mirror. And a rip in the seat. Needs a few odds and ends but bike is a solid runner.

Any suggestions on seats? High or low? I feel the low you are more comfortable cause you are like sitting In it, not on it like a high.

Looking for another "lollipop" mirror unless anyone has better suggestions.

Looking forward to putting on some real miles this year!

And I know the rule, don't worry pics are coming soon.

How tall are you?, my low seat makes the peg position a little cramped and im 5'8" i would say if you can handle the height for parking or what not you could get the standard seat for an '06 X. I beleive it was the tallest therefore thickest and most cushy. The stock seat for the later uly's are pretty comfy too, the low is a little hard.
And of course theres tons of mirror options, but i like these... 1125cr mirrors

I prefer the tall seat. I have the tall and low seats. The low seat is a bit cramped in the leg area and seems firm or to me. (I'm 6', 1")

I have Aprilia Tuono mirrors on my bike and they are much better then the stock lollipops. They look better and provide a better rear view in my opinion.

Congrats on joining the Uly side of Buell ownership. You'll be pleased.

Thanks everyone. I'm gonna try the talk seat. Still looking at mirror options. Does anyone know the part # for the handlebars?

Aprillia Tuono mirrors work beautifully. Wider view & less vibration than the stock mirrors.

Where can you buy those Aprilia mirrors? Do you have to hunt up a dealer?

I can't remember where I got mine, maybe Ebay. Google Tuono mirrors and you should be able to find a reasonably priced set.
